Didn't Saturn try to change the business model of selling cars to 'here's the price everyday no haggling?' Where are they now? While I am SICK of hearing the Macy's one day sale theme nearly every...one...day, there is something to the thrill of the chase for the bargain. What Penny's need is the wow factor that Ron Johnson brought to Target. Penny's reminds me of my grandmother, so the perceived value has nothing to do with price.

In my opinion the new JC Penney campaign is just another reinvention of the wheel. Wise consumers who have a budget always wait for the sales and clearance. The only people who pay full price are the independently wealthy or the uninformed consumer. With the elimination of the "deep discount" consumers will just continue to compare JC Penney prices with other similar retailers such as Kohl's, and Target. By the way Kohl's seems to have eliminated the deep discounts a long time ago and JC Penney is just catching up.

Thank you for you uplifting comments! Keep em comin!
I think we all have felt like we didn't want to get up and get something done, but we end up paying for it in the long run in so many ways. Time, money, health...better to tackle your issues when you have the resources, than wait for them to run out! Be Blesssed!
